KodlContemporary continues the long-standing gallery, collecting and patronage tradition of the Kodl family, which dates back to the last century.

We strive for Czech contemporary art to hold a strong position on the international art scene. Our mission is to build a vibrant and dynamic international network (forum) of contemporary artists, collectors, curators, cultural professionals, and the public in order to support Czech contemporary art, appreciate its value in the market and strengthen its position in Czech society. Through groundbreaking exhibitions, cross-border collaborations, and dynamic dialogues, we aim to inspire, challenge, and contribute to the ever-evolving narrative of global art.

IDENTITY

Founded by Jakub Kodl, a member of the youngest generation of the esteemed Kodl family of art collectors and cultural patrons, KodlContemporary aspires to become a leading Czech commercial contemporary art gallery, showcasing acclaimed Czech and international contemporary artists, presenting their work within both historical and global contexts.
